Biography

Jonathan Walter began playing guitar at the age of six. By thirteen, he had formed his first band, and at nineteen, he signed a record deal with Universal, opening doors for further collaborations. In 2008, he wrote the theme song for ZDF for the football European Championship.

For over ten years, he worked as a songwriter for BMG Rights. His songs and sound designs appeared in "Tatort" and commercials for brands such as Lacoste, Edding, Mini, Porsche, and Hugo Boss. Collaborations and co-writes with artists like Lea, Megaloh, Robot Koch, Murkage Dave, Bonez MC, Nico Santos, and Mathias Kaden cemented his reputation as a multi-instrumentalist and producer, with his work streamed over a hundred million times.

Using the alias Radar Bird, he released music on Monkeytown Records and performed live sets at CTM Festival, Splash Festival, Watergate, and Boiler Room. His musical expertise spans from acoustic electronic to elaborate scoring music. Since February 2022, he has been part of the Riverside Studios family in Berlin.
