Billy Mello is a Brazilian born musical producer and DJ, also known as “ DJ Maestro Billy” in Brazil, he came to Germany in 2015 to pursue new experiences and focus on research and music production for new medias.
In Brazil For 15 years, he was the DJ of the TV show “Caldeirão do Huck” aired every Saturday by Brazilian biggest TV network Rede Globo. The is broadcast to the entire brazilian territory, as well as to 115 countries via Globo International.
Professional musician, plays piano and keyboard, his reel has remixes for established artists such as Lulu Santos, Ana Carolina, Jota Quest, Ed Motta, Orishas, SPC, Michel Telo, Claudio Zoli, Morcheeba and produces tracks and all sorts of audio materials for advertising and digital media.
In 2013 he was the opening act of pop singer Beyoncé’s tour MRS CARTER 2013“ Billy played in the cities of Fortaleza, Belo Horizonte, São Paulo and Brasilia, to more than 50 thousand people in each presentation.
In his constant need to enhance and upgrade his production skills, in 2016 Billy specialized in Audio for Video Games and VR through Berklee College of Music. Also, this move will greatly benefit his 25-year expertise on DJing and producing, due to this different mix of Europe’s electronic scene with the Brazilian way of playing, composing and creating.
Now, with LUCHA LIBRE AUDIO one of the most creative post production studios in São Paulo/BR, holder of ELEVEN Lions on Cannes Festival 2018 a new studio for VR , Spatial and Binaural Audio is settle at Riverside Studios.
Lucha Libre Audio has clients such as Mcdonalds, Ambev, Toyota, Perdigāo and Mondelez and also ha a partnership with Drac Studios in Los Angeles of the drummer Matt Sorum (Gun’s and Roses, Velvet Revolver, and member from the Rock n’Roll Hall of Fame).
